Jasperware from the 1960's - 1990's.

Jasperware is one of Wedgwood's most recognisable forms. It was first created by Josiah Wedgwood in the late 1700's. It is made from a translucent clay and produces a dense, delicate stoneware. The white relief portraits or Greek classical scene ornamentation enhance these unglazed pieces which are sought after for both their beauty and detailed decoration. This gallery shows a selection of designs from recent decades. Contemporary shapes and forms decorated with elegant and classical patterns. They show well on their own or as part of a set.
