Whitefriars Gallery

Whitefriars' (1834-1980 England) reputation for technical and artistic innovation began in the 19th century, and in the 20th century it was one of the first glassworks to embrace modern glass design. Geoffrey Baxter joined Whitefriars in 1954 when he completed training at the Royal School of Art. He introduced a range of stunning, bold and quirky designs during the 1960's and 70's.

His Textured Range is now highly collectable and sought after and can regularly be seen featured on television and in interior design magazines. The Whitefriars factory closed in 1980 making the glass both historical design and investment pieces
